Google Ads integration allows the Transmute Engine to send conversion data directly to your Google Ads account via the Google Ads API. This enables enhanced conversions, giving you accurate attribution data for your campaigns.

How It Works #

Seresa uses a Manager Account (MCC) to manage Google Ads conversions for multiple clients through a single API integration. Once you grant Seresa access to your Google Ads account, the Transmute Engine can upload click conversions on your behalf.

Your Website -> inPIPE (collection) -> Transmute Engine -> Google Ads (conversion upload)

The TS Engine uses the uploadClickConversions API to send conversion events, ensuring your Google Ads campaigns receive accurate first-party conversion data.

Setup Requirements #

To enable the Google Ads integration, you need to complete three steps:

  1. Link your Google Ads account to our Manager Account (MCC) – this allows API-level management
  2. Invite our email as a user on your account – this grants operational access
  3. Create a support ticket – so we can process and activate your integration

All three steps are required. The MCC link handles API management, the user invite grants operational access, and the support ticket lets us verify and activate everything on our end.

Important: Due to Google’s API restrictions and permission requirements, we are unable to fully automate the Google Ads integration process. Google requires manual account linking and user invitations to be completed from within your own Google Ads account. We apologise for the extra steps involved — once you complete the setup below and submit a ticket, our team will handle everything else as quickly as possible.

Step 1: Link to Our Manager Account #

  1. Log into your Google Ads account
  2. Click the Tools & Settings icon (wrench) in the top navigation
  3. Go to Account Access
  4. Click + Link to manager account
  5. Enter Manager Account ID: 692-045-8203
  6. Click Send to send the invitation

Seresa will accept the link request from our end. You will see a confirmation once the link is active.

Alternative: We Can Initiate the Link #

If you prefer, contact Seresa support and provide your Google Ads Customer ID. We can send the link request from our Manager Account, and you simply approve it from your end.

Step 2: Invite Seresa as a User #

  1. Log into your Google Ads account
  2. Click the Tools & Settings icon (wrench) in the top navigation
  3. Go to Access and security
  4. Click the blue + (Add user) button
  5. In the invitation panel, enter the following:
  6. Click Send invitation

Seresa will accept the invitation. Once accepted, you can proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Create a Support Ticket #

Important: After completing Steps 1 and 2, you need to create a support ticket so our team can process your request and activate the integration.

  1. Go to support.seresa.io/contact-support
  2. Register your email address if you have not already
  3. Create a new ticket letting us know you have completed the Google Ads linking steps above
  4. Include your Google Ads Customer ID in the ticket so we can verify the connection

Our team will process your request, verify that both the MCC link and user invitation are in place, and notify you once everything is activated. You will then be able to enable your inPIPE Google Ads integration without encountering any permission issues.

Why Standard? The Transmute Engine uploads click conversions to Google Ads via the API. This requires write access. Read only access is not sufficient. Admin access is more than what is needed.

Why Never Expires? If access expires, the OAuth tokens stop working and conversion uploads will fail silently. Setting access to Never ensures uninterrupted data flow.

After Setup Is Complete #

Once you have completed all three steps and Seresa has accepted:

  1. Our team will review your support ticket and verify the MCC link and user invitation
  2. We will configure your Google Ads Customer ID in the Transmute Engine
  3. The OAuth authorization flow will be completed on our end
  4. Conversion actions will be created and linked
  5. You will be notified via your support ticket when your Google Ads integration is active and conversions will begin flowing

Troubleshooting #

I cannot find Link to manager account #

Make sure you are in the correct Google Ads account (not a different account). Go to Tools & Settings > Account Access. The option should be visible at the top of the page.

I get a permission error when trying to invite #

You must be an Admin on the Google Ads account to invite new users. If you do not have Admin access, ask the account owner to send the invitation to .

I get permission issues when activating the integration #

If you are seeing permission errors when trying to activate the Google Ads integration in your dashboard, it likely means our team has not yet processed your request. Please make sure you have created a support ticket after completing Steps 1 and 2. We will notify you once everything is ready.

My conversions are not appearing #

Check that all three steps were completed – the MCC link (Step 1), the user invite (Step 2), and the support ticket (Step 3). If only the first two were done, we may not have activated your integration yet. Contact Seresa support if all steps are confirmed.
