Google Ads integration allows the Transmute Engine to send conversion data directly to your Google Ads account via the Google Ads API. This enables enhanced conversions, giving you accurate attribution data for your campaigns.

How It Works #
Seresa uses a Manager Account (MCC) to manage Google Ads conversions for multiple clients through a single API integration. Once you grant Seresa access to your Google Ads account, the Transmute Engine can upload click conversions on your behalf.
Your Website -> inPIPE (collection) -> Transmute Engine -> Google Ads (conversion upload)The TS Engine uses the uploadClickConversions API to send conversion events, ensuring your Google Ads campaigns receive accurate first-party conversion data.
Setup Requirements #
To enable the Google Ads integration, you need to complete two steps:
- Link your Google Ads account to our Manager Account (MCC) – this allows API-level management
- Invite our email as a user on your account – this grants operational access
Both steps are required. The MCC link handles API management, and the user invite grants the operational access needed to upload conversions.
Step 1: Link to Our Manager Account #
- Log into your Google Ads account
- Click the Tools & Settings icon (wrench) in the top navigation
- Go to Account Access
- Click + Link to manager account
- Enter Manager Account ID: 692-045-8203
- Click Send to send the invitation
Seresa will accept the link request from our end. You will see a confirmation once the link is active.
Alternative: We Can Initiate the Link #
If you prefer, contact Seresa support and provide your Google Ads Customer ID. We can send the link request from our Manager Account, and you simply approve it from your end.
Step 2: Invite Seresa as a User #
- Log into your Google Ads account
- Click the Tools & Settings icon (wrench) in the top navigation
- Go to Access and security
- Click the blue + (Add user) button
- In the invitation panel, enter the following:

- Access level: Standard
- Access Expires: Never
- Email:
- Click Send invitation
Seresa will accept the invitation. Once accepted, the integration is ready to be configured.
Access Level Explained #

Why Standard? The Transmute Engine uploads click conversions to Google Ads via the API. This requires write access. Read only access is not sufficient. Admin access is more than what is needed.
Why Never Expires? If access expires, the OAuth tokens stop working and conversion uploads will fail silently. Setting access to Never ensures uninterrupted data flow.

After Setup Is Complete #
Once you have completed both steps and Seresa has accepted:
- Contact Seresa support to confirm your setup is complete
- We will configure your Google Ads Customer ID in the Transmute Engine
- The OAuth authorization flow will be completed on our end
- Conversion actions will be created and linked
- Your Google Ads integration will be enabled and conversions will begin flowing
Troubleshooting #
I cannot find Link to manager account #
Make sure you are in the correct Google Ads account (not a different account). Go to Tools & Settings > Account Access. The option should be visible at the top of the page.
I get a permission error when trying to invite #
You must be an Admin on the Google Ads account to invite new users. If you do not have Admin access, ask the account owner to send the invitation to .
My conversions are not appearing #
Check that both steps were completed – the MCC link (Step 1) and the user invite (Step 2). If only one was done, conversions cannot flow. Contact Seresa support if both steps are confirmed.
